RameyRacing Mercury 450R Stage 2:
Installation of MoTeC M150 Mercury Racing 450R/500R ECU Kit
For those who want to unlock the performance potential of MoTeC on the Mercury platform, the M150-based ECU Kit for the 450R and 500R Supercharged V8 Mercury motors.
This Kit provides all the wiring, modules and mounting hardware to switch out the factory ECU, with targeted M1 Packages optimized for Tune 1.5.
Along with fuel, ignition, throttle and drive trim control, this solution also supports other OE ECU features, including:
- Key Start Via OE CAN
- Full dash functionality including warnings and run time for maintenance
- Integration with multi engine boats via CAN
- Stern Leg Position Monitoring
- Multi Engine Synchronization
Stage 2 will also include:
- Ramey Racing Supercharger Pulley and Belt
- Disassembling the engine and examining each part to determine the minimum needed for a refresh
- Replacing damaged parts with new parts that meet OEM standards, including piston rings, bearings, gaskets, seals, and lubricants.
- Reconditioning the internal surfaces of the cylinders and the cylinder head so that new piston rings can form a proper seal.
